Everything went well with the phlebotomist on 4th floor but the staff had a great deal of difficulty finding a suitable vein into which a canula could be inserted for the TAVI CT Scan and it ended up taking ages to complete and me feeling like a pincushion with quite a bit of bruising afterwards. I feel that if I had been asked to drink plenty of fluids a short time before my appointment, as I did in the end, after a number of failed attempts to find a suitable vein, the whole process might have been swifter with fewer failed attempts

See above. Also, the CT scanner room is extremely cold and I ended up v chilled because the process took so long I was eventually given a second blanket but not until I was just about to get dressed again.
