My visits were mixed - I needed to visit the Cleveland Clinic in order to see the specialist and get the results of a Pet scan I had had at the London Clinic. My first appointment for this PET scan was awful - I was there for hours and at the last minute just before finally going in to have it - someone came in and said it was not working. So that was 3 hours plus wasted. Next time it went fairly smoothly. Then a couple of weeks later we returned to the Cleveland Clinic to discuss with the specialist - that went more smoothly although when my husband and I left, I still felt that I was unsure of exactly what I had been told. I saw no nurses and no contact with them so cannot comment on those questions. I also had full coverage with BUPA and had the appropriate number which was written into the from I completed. So I cannot answer those two questions.

Suggested improvements
The Cleveland Clinic seemed to manage their appointments far more professionally than the London Clinic and I was perfectly satisfied with those arrangements. I still somewhat unsure as to what my diagnosis will actually mean for me. I was with my husband and he said he was satisfied that he understood so it may well be that I had not absorbed all that was being said. I don't appear to be able to send this without answering questions highlighted in red - for example: Did the nurses listen carefully to you? I DID NOT HAVE ANY CONTACT WITH ANY NURSES SO CANNOT ANSWER THIS AND WAS UNABLE ALSO TO ANSWER OTHER QUESTIONS THAT WERE NOT RELEVANT TO MY EXPERIENCE. I have given one star to all the questions you have told me that I HAVE TO ANSWER even though I saw no nurses (to my knowledge) and therefore cannot answer these queries).


No, it was as one would expect. Professional and careful. Where I have not replied to questions - eg. the one about nurses - I did not have any contact with any nurses that I was aware of, so cannot comment. I am not aware of the cost of my visits/treatment but am fully covered by BUPA for them all and gave in the reference number to cover them given to me by BUPA so cannot again answer that question as to whether I was aware of the cost. I do know it probably was very expensive but more than that I do know.
