I have been receiving care from the neurology dept for many years. Although initially I was concerned about whether a diagnosis would be found for my condition and also whether the symptoms I had to cope with daily and which were progressing, would be taken seriously, I now have much greater faith and trust in the medical team. They treat me with respect and it helps to be proactive with managing my care. If you help your doctors and medical team to help you, always be prepared with the information they may require, before you see them, so that you and they can get the best out of the appointments.
