Care was adequate. No instructions were given prior to coming into the ward about expectations of patients and what care would be given. I know that some patients are here for hours before their operations and this could have been done during that time. The perception given is that either staff were too busy or that patients were expected to muddle through!

Very pleasant staff especially Lee and Emily the food could be a little better.

I cannot think of anything to complain about, all the staff are brilliant - thank you. The only bug bear is the shaver room which I think should be improved on such as a plug in the sink, a shelf to put things like toothpaste etc (near the sink), maybe a seat that can be maneuvered easier from slope of shower to sink. But all in all I received excellent care - thank you all.

The staff were very friendly and were always there when needed. Everything was very well explained. Nothing to be improved. :-)
