I went to the brook to receive a number of contraception including my first time taking a contraceptive pill. The nurse, Julie, made it clear to me that I could choose and gave me information on both types of pill which was helpful to me because i was nervous. Lauren answered the phone for me and made me feel welcomed and was very kind. They talk to you in ways which make you feel comfortable. They also respect social distancing and face coverings.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful, keeping me up to date with current chances due to COVID. I was given a phone consultation rather than a walk in session due to COVID and all questions were explained as why they needed the answers and gave me full confidence in providing them truthful answers. Once I arrived the place was clean, tidy and well presented. I had to wait due to only nurse being on call but that was okay. Once I was with the nurse she was very friendly and approachable. Soothing to know that they care for us and want us protected. Julie made sure I knew what would happen if I didn’t take my pill and made sure it was her job to inform me that they are always there to call for help. I would prefer ringing up the brook rather than my doctors purely because of the attitude of the staff here are great and they are more approachable.

Maybe have two nurses on every day so things move a little faster

i went to get contraception the nurse i saw was Julie and the health care assistant was Lauren and they were both lovely and kind. They are extremely helpful to me and if i ever had a problem they made it clear i could go to them no matter what. it was very hygienic and they respect social distancing rules and wear masks and provide hand sanitizer.

i feel as though nothing could be improved as it is a welcoming environment and helpful

Lauren was really lovely during the first phone consultation, then Geraldine was also really compassionate and caring. Considering the current pandemic, the Brook have really taken care to ensure the safety of both staff and patients. Hand gel was provided, masks were worn and overall great experience :)-

The hand gel was very sticky and left my hands very uncomfortable is all I would say could be improved. I was consulted and given the necessary treatment all in the same day and I am honestly very pleased and surprised given the current conditions of society.

It was unclear about when would be available to visit the clinic as I kept being told they was unsure when they would be able to phone me however I think this was because of covid guidelines. Emma was the woman who looked after me and made me feel very comfortable and welcomed and made what was for me a scary experience at first, a helpful and comfortable one.

I was very nervous but all the staff calmed me down. My nurse Colette took amazing care of me and I was so thankful to have her there. I also had a conversation with Lauren over the phone who was so lovely and I had an amazing experience. Thank you all so much- megan <3
