For the past few weeks I have been calling but to no avail. Voicemail box was full so unable to leave a voicemail for a call back and the online booking system hasn’t been working. As someone who works away from Dudley and have a busy work schedule all over Staffordshire, it has been hard for me to go to a walk in to book an appointment, in which by chance I finished earlier and made it back in time. It is highly frustrating that this barrier has push plans on family planning, where it could’ve been overcome if the phone lines or online booking system worked. The reception staff I saw today were great, but it’s frustrating that I have been trying to organise an appointment for a procedure that can only be done through and appointment.

Suggested improvements
Phone lines to be answered, voicemail box to be monitored and online booking system to work. All of these are barriers for patients to access and ask for help, where it could already be an awkward or the individual could be anxious already.
