The GP's are willing to listen to what is happening holistically as well as just to the problem itself, would like to thank Ian on reception or Dr Morton today for seeing me urgently.
Being able to contact by phone - although not aware number had changed - access to meds when not able to have prescription filed too quickly.
Answering calls sooner.
Professional, timely and personal.
I have been in recently for INR Blood tests and been seen by an HCA called Tracey twice. On each occasion, I felt humiliated and was treated as if I was senile. Also, she seems to think she is able to diagnose and knows more than a person in her position.
I would suggest this person is sent on a refresher course on how to treat patients, and perhaps life skills. People like this do the practice no favours whatsoever.
You also have a GP there called Dr Morton who also seems to have a completely wrong attitude towards patients and has appeared to be in a bad temper when I had the misfortune to see him for a consultation, he was ignorant and downright rude.
This has turned the practice from being Five Star throughout to a mere two-star practice and I feel something needs to be done about it, especially these two individuals.
On a positive note, the general appearance of the waiting area and consulting rooms was excellent. The Reception staff were courteous and helpful and deserve a full five-stars
Everything was explained to me in details and I am content.
