the doctors and staff show genuine empathy, treatment is good too. I just wish there was an after hours service like there used to be. NHS111 & A&E just either use it or are inappropriate. NHS direct used to be pretty good but not like Thamesdoc, I would most definitely be happy to pay privately for such a service
excellent communications skills very empathetic and understanding
nothing, always happy

thorough examination
very helpful
what was good. there is a culture at the Vine Surgery of treating patients professionally. there is respect for patients - it feels rare, though wholly welcome. you are allowed to speak and be heard and not be treated like a fool for conditions or fears you might have that perhaps elsewhere you would be. there is no condescension in dialogue with any of the doctors or nurses. reception staff take cue from the surgerys medical team and treat patients with due care and attention. they too lift the standards and should be commended. Vine can be held up as an exemplary sound practice and excellence within the NHS. I feel fortunate to be a patient at the vine.
what could be improved - it is hard to identify anything other than perhaps the telephone booking service. the only improvement I could suggest is that new system that can absorb all calls waiting should be introduced - one that then could identify what number you are in queue would be good. the current system only allows access to itself once a line is free. it can and does take upwards of 20 minutes to get through - ringing the number repeatedly - so if you ring three times a minute you'll easily have called 60 times before you get a free line. this is really a first world problem though, perhaps even trivial.
