I saw a nurse practitioner and thought she seemed very thorough and gave my antibiotics I needed for infection immediately. A better service for phoning for same day appointments is needed. Re-dialling for 20 mins at 8 am when your sick is not acceptable. Maybe a second phone line would help patients get to talk to someone.
I have always found everyone here to be courteous professional and caring
Reception staff can be rude at the surgery. Some people skills and working with the public need to be instilled. They can be very short with you at times. I have received test results from reception staff in the past, which I find impersonal and inappropriate.
There seems to be a lot of staff changes with doctors, at the moment I am seeing Dr. Stansfield, which is a fantastic doctor.
Nicer waiting area would be great as it is a not depressing. The consulting rooms are also tired looking too.
I have been going to this DRs surgery for over 40 years and I've always find the DRs to be very helpful and they always put me st ease as I am a nervous patient. The receptionists are always warm, friendly and very helpful. I am looking forward to the move to the new premises.
