I get the impression that the practice does its best with minimal resources. There is a lot of unknowns, for example, why the practice is only open the hours it is and probably myths, for example, why have I never met the Doctor with whom I am registered; I assume I have just not had an appointment at the time when my Doctor is in the practice. From what I know of the practice I would imagine it has a massive number of patients within its catchment area and it has to make often quite hard decisions in terms of the level of service and prioritisations, so trying to offer something close to a service is probably very demanding. I welcome the PPG initiative and think this is the first of many steps in the right direction.
