I have experienced problems in the past but recently discovered how to message the surgery & Dr Church has been amazing. Hence my review of the improvement of care for myself & my daughter. I do feel that the Drs and receptionists have always been very good it has been the pandemic that has affected access to these over worked GP’s.

I called into the surgery to find out about flu vaccinations for my wife and myself as the date I had been given by my phone was not suitable. The lady on reception was both understanding and helpful and was able to book us appointments on the same day(yesterday). We thought this was a very prompt result and we were delighted with the outcome. As usual over all the 20 years we have used Patford House practice a helpful and user friendly response.

Suggested improvements
After yesterdays prompt and efficient service there was nothing that could have been improved.

I am satisfied with the treatment I received off Dr Church , Dr Anstey Dr Else and nurses at Patford Partnership I could find no complaints at all !

I was sent a text regarding a flu jab. I was invited as apparently I was eligible. I turned up yesterday and was told that I was no longer eligible. When i contacted the surgery when I was texted I asked why I was eligible and was told that I should take the jab anyway. No one contacted me when they decided I was no longer eligible. The service was disgraceful. This is the fourth appointment that Patford house has messed up. If this continues I will be making a formal complaint. You need to get your act together and treat patients with respect and put effort into getting appointments and treatment right.

Suggested improvements
Your admin team need to document the right appointments. Your doctors and nurses need to be made aware what is actually going on in an appointment. You need to assign properly trained staff to the right appointments. And patients need to be contacted properly when something on their notes changes. To be honest your entire practice needs to be rectified. As stated above, my last four visits to Patford house have been disgraceful. My appointments have been messed around and no one seems to be able to deliver not only good customer service but proper care.

I was sent a text saying the doctor wished a follow up appointment and offered either face to face or virtual. I chose face to face and received a text with an appointment a few days later. The original text had warned that I would not get an immediate reply and I should telephone if I had a problem needing immediate attention.

Suggested improvements
There was no one at reception when I arrived and I had to speak to the dispensary to get booked in. If reception has to be left unattended for any reason putting a notice to advise patients to speak to the dispensary staff would be helpful.
