I would suggest that some training is giving to the receptionist on a Monday morning. I know that it is busy but to be met with an unhelpful receptionist who goes on to tell me that a nurse is off sick and that there is no appointments and then going on about how busy the doctors are is not what I want to hear when ALL I want is an appointment. I don't mind telling them what my problem is but I don't expect them to tell me that I don't need to have an appointment for that. I they qualified doctors, this is an accident waiting to happen one day they will give the wrong information out and someone will be in urgent need of help and they wont get it. One of the receptionist talks to you like you are a naughty school child. This is not want poorly people need to hear, we want a sympathetic person to help us and understand what we are going through. The reception staff are getting worse.
