Share review of Medwyn Surgery
Although it is often an effort to get an appointment with your nominated GP at a time convenient to you, when it is desirable to see any doctor in order to treat an immediate problem there is usually someone available at short notice. The receptionists are generally helpful, and in my recent experience, although unable to offer me an appointment with any GP at that time, she suggested that the Practice Nurse might be able to help in the first instance, which I accepted. The nurse is always able to refer to the duty doctor for advice if needed. On a follow-up visit, again I was unable to see the doctor of my choice, but the young doctor consulted was again able to refer to a more senior colleague, and between them discussed the possible diagnoses, which were explained to me clearly, and a course of action decided upon.
