A member of the team called me about a Shingles appointment . I was unwell at the time so she took my details and I was triaged and was promptly phoned back. I was able to make an appointment to see Dr Piper. He made a diagnosis and went out of his way to help me obtain meds as this was proving difficult owing to international computer issues. When I needed further assistance, he responded promptly. I’m very grateful.
Thank you for providing some feedback this is greatly appreciated
Reception staff don't listen and have given both nurses and doctor completely the wrong information.
I used to fill in an online prescription form and consult form. I see those options have been taken away from me unless I register which I don't want to do
We apologise if there was any breakdown in communication between the reception and clinical teams. Full information regarding repeat ordering of medications is on our website https://www.loxwoodmedicalpractice.co.uk/health-information/prescriptions/ You can send an email to sxicb-wsx.medications.lmp@nhs.net or send a medication query via eConsult, also on our website so that verbal misunderstandings are minimised. If you are unable to use any of the normal routes of reordering medication please let us know so that we could speak to your GP about alternative options. We are pleased to have recruited two excellent new lady GP Partners this year.
Reception staff very miserable and rude. Not welcoming or compassionate whatsoever. Not engaging or helpful.
We are sorry that this was the experience you felt. If you would be prepared to provide us with some more details such as the date and time of your visit we may be in a position to fully investigate the reasons surrounding your concerns.
I was super impressed that I could ask for a repeat prescription on the NHS app and then I received a text message to say it was ready and it was all ready when I went to collect it. Glad to see this and other online initiatives being adopted by the team at the surgery making it easier to access the service and, I suspect, more efficient for the staff.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated thank you.
I am always given respect and time by the reception staff …… especially Mollie Cooper who has pushed so hard for me today in getting results
Thank you for your comments. If you have had a consultation with a GP at one of our weekend appointments, which is outside our normal working hours, if medication is prescribed they can send your prescription electronically to a local pharmacy of your choice immediately. This will enable you to quickly start a course of medication as soon as possible. There will be a delay in starting any medication if you choose to have your medication prescribed by your usual GP here at the surgery. Medications issued from a weekend appointment, need processing by our staff first and will not be ready for collection from the surgery until the Tuesday morning.
