SOME of the reception staff go out of their way to be helpful whilst others really dont bother. The new system of sharing GP surgery appointments with other surgerys just does not work!! Al it does it create massive waiting lists on the days the surgery is open as there are even more patients to see. I have waited over two hours past my appt time to see a GP on more than one occasion since this has happened and have heard several other patients complaining of the same treatment. I feel it puts extra pressure on GPS and reception staff as well as patients.
This morning I called for an emergency appointment.
I was asked to come into surgery at 8:40. I explained that I had an ongoing medical issue and needed to see a GP.
When I arrived I was booked with a nurse. I was then rebooked with a doctor having to wait for a further hour and 20 mins (so far).
The surgery is always very warm, especially the winter, myself and my baby both suffer from eczema so we get very hot and itchy when we are here. Please turn down the heating!
Thank you.
Very good.
Do not need to change anything.
Staff friendly and efficient.
The quality of service from both the diabetic nursing team in every sense could only be described as excellent.
