Impossible to get an appointment. Different receptionists offer different advice about how to get an appointment e.g. Call at 8am, stand at front door at 8am, book in advance, cannot book in advance, only emergencies today etc etc or are blaming the GPs for changing or giving the appointments away. Debbie (said she is in charge of receptionists) said that CQC rating was outstanding and I could move to a different surgery if I wanted to - when you are not well this is not the best advice that a patient should be given which makes me wonder how many people she and others like her have put off. Also CQC rating on their website says GOOD not outstanding so please do not spout lies. All receptionists NEED the same training so services are equitable for all patients please. I'm not entirely sure this will get looked into but would appreciate some action. Thank you.

I have been with Langham Place Surgery since around 2001 and all my family have become patients here too. It is always a really good service, but today one doctor really stood out for me. Our three year old was seen by a locum, Dr Lally, after she reacted to her immunisations. His 'bedside manner' was so gentle and reassuring, he found out our daughter loved rabbits, and drew her a special rabbit head on her arm, around the injection site that needed tracking. He acknowledged all of my children I had with me (all four of them) and spoke with interest to me too. An absolute gentleman and an absolute credit to the surgery and the medical world alike.

Phoned the surgery and they got Dr to call me, managed to book my son in the same morning. Pleased that I was able to get an appointment on the same day.
