The reception staff are friendly..but the booking system is ridiculous, if you are unable to physically go to the surgery at 8am then you can forget getting an appointment at all because it is IMPOSSIBLE to get through the phone from 8am for atleast 30 minutes and by the TIME you get through all the appointments are gone, or at an inconvinient time which means you have to take the whole day off work just in case are lucky enough to get an appointment, because you wont know what times will be available. It is ridiculous and you need a new system. The surgery is clean, but could I suggest a water cooler or something for patients in the waiting area? Regarding the service, I would like to say that Dr Sefton and Le Maistre in particular are very competent doctors; they listen, are caring and really follow up on your health and getting you better. They definitely restore my faith in doctors. I would like to add that as someone who has been coming to this surgery for 2+ years I have had a few sppointments with a doctor Wilson, a somewhat elderly doctor and I have to say that I absolutely dislike geting appointments with him, but often dont get a choice in changing who is available for an appointment. He is very cold, rude, uncaring VERY condenscending and talks to me (im not sure about other patients) as if im a nuisance or im unintelligent. While he does hes job, i have had him examine me before and he did not attempt to make me feel comfortable or reassured at all like other doctors would. I am not sure if he dislikes me in particular (i dont know him) or if he like that wih everyone but i cannot emphasise how unwelcome and how much of a dumb nuisance he made me feel. I will specifically ask for a different doctor from now on.
