I tried to make appointment for over three days but unsuccessful, even though I tried calling at 8am. The phone engaged until 8.30 and the receptionist finally gets on and just say appointment are finished so I can call the next day or call the NHS number. Another thing at the reception area the service you get gets is very poor, reason for this they identified you by your date of birth and name which you have to say loudly, while other people are present, for me this is data protection and I don't like to other people hearing my private details. There must be some other ways, or receptionist needs to be trained to deal with sensitive case like these

Suggested improvements
Have more than enough phone lines in order for other people not to be waiting in a queue and then told there is no more appointments. Another thing at reception instead of them asking you to shout out your date of birth and name just ask for and ID with all those information
