After seeing a pharmacist on the Monday could only get the cream needed on prescription. Rang doctors who said no appointments on the Tuesday morning, call back 8am Wednesday. 8am Wednesday comes and I get a phone call appointment with the enhanced nurse at 6:30pm. 7:30pm came and I hadn’t received a phone call (no missed calls either) but received a text saying sorry we couldn’t get hold of you, please call the surgery again at 8am. Thursday 8am came, I was caller number 2 and told there was no appointments left for the day, please come in at 10:15 on Friday (4 days after the pharmacy telling me which cream I needed). Friday came, it was a medical student. She done the initial examination, asked all the questions and filled in the online part, after waiting around 10 minutes for the doctor to appear, he then spent the next 10 minutes going over it all again, prescribed me the cream the pharmacy had told me I needed and I ended up being in there around 25/30 minutes.

Suggested improvements
When having medical students, don’t do everything twice and keep the patient in there half an hour for some nose cream! Have a better system when a pharmacist has suggested being prescribed something and not take a week to get the cream and be in pain. More helpful and kinder receptionists
