The receptionist Claudia failed to read mum's notes that I was told by the visiting doctor to call for an appointment if mum's bacterial skin issue wasn't contained by the cream prescribed. When she told me there were no appointments that day, in my frustration I asked her to empathise as it could be her mother, and she told me rudely "not to play that card" and whether I understood her name when I asked for it as I said I would complain to the local ICB. I shouldn't have had to raise my voice to get help for my mum, it was embarrassing and distressing for me. I suffered a panic attack for days and medication didn't help. Then the doctor Dr Bundock threatens to remove my mum from their list if I try to get her help again. My mum's skin issues are still ongoing and I am frightened of calling the surgery again; so I will have to move her anyway because I don't feel we are safe, understood or supported by the receptionist Claudia or Dr Bundock.

Suggested improvements
The receptionist could have read mum's notes, and realised it was an ongoing serious issue and that I was calling via the plan. I no longer feel I can call the surgery, and feel we are not safe on their books.
