I always receive good service at this doctors surgery - but felt a little bit frustrated after my visit today - doctor advised I needed blood test was advised that this cannot be done until 23 November as phlebotomist is on annual leave next week - surely there should be someone to cover staff holidays?
Most of my dealings with the surgery have been for my children where I have always managed to get the same day appointment if needed. All the staff including receptionists and the nursing team are highly professional, polite and caring.
Good clinical care but poor admin support. Time-critical repeat prescriptions delayed. Staff reluctant to arrange necessary treatment.
Great range of online services. Friendly and helpful reception staff. I would happily see any of the drs at this surgery as every one I have seen for either myself or my children have been great. Fantastic care when it comes to children and babies. I have always been able to get a same day appointment for the children if it was needed.
The only negative about the surgery is accessibility. There is no car park and you have to park in a pay and display which is a hassle when you are carting children and buggies generally and even worse when you have a poorly child and no change for a car park because you didn't plan on needing it! It just makes a quick trip to the Dr a lot more stressful than it needs to be.
I had bloods taken this morning. Early so no reception staff so that is why they had a low rating. The young lady that took the bloodshot was very good giving a pain free experience. Making me feel at ease throughout my appointment. Please pass on my thanks x x x Yvonne 8.00 am appointment x x
