I attended for flu and shingles jabs and also a blood test. My appointment was with Juliet, who was friendly and professional and took time to explain the benefits of the flu vaccine. I explained to Juliet that I have small veins and medical staff always struggle to get a sample from me, however she skilfully extracted the sample without trouble and more importantly, without pain. The two injections were hardly felt.
All in all, a very pleasant experience, thanks to Juliet for her excellent nursing skills.
I have a chronic pain condition as well as serious mental health problems (not helped by being in pain 24/7) and the doctors here have failed me completely. They refuse to give me any pain killers which is making me so depressed I don’t want to be here anymore. I have been numerous times and they keep palming me off with the same rubbish I keep telling them doesn’t work for me. Leaving someone to suffer is barbaric and sick. Also, every appointment I have here is AT LEAST 20 minutes late. On a positive note, the receptionists are lovely and the practice is quite clean and tidy.
I’d really like to thank Sophie the nurse who I saw today. She was so kind, caring and reassuring throughout my double appointment. She involves me in all decisions and made me feel completely at ease. An absolute credit to a lovely surgery!
I also met Dinesh who was kind and considerate. Very informative and helped me quickly and efficiently.
The lady who booked by appointment was also very kind and managed to schedule all three appointments in a row.
Finally, all the receptionists were very kind!
Very good surgery.
Dr McGilligan is a true professional. His personal approach is so reassuring. He has motivated me to change my lifestyle. Thank you Dr McGiligan for being my doctor and thank you NHS for making it possible.
