I had in previous section mentioned about being cut off when I have been hanging on for so long .

It was very difficult to get am appointment they don't respond properly and with lot of difficult if we get an appointment someone who doesn't have any experience some junior will be attending if we put our medical condition in front of him they will tell us to wait for sometime in consultancy room they go somewhere to discuss with senior doctor and come and tell us something which doesn't match they don't give us any medication and just send us back. This was happening even for small kids below 5 years also.

Recently we made call attempts to book appointment for flu vaccination after so many attempts once they responded and told us appointment available on December itserms I called from 1 St week of October my daughter was going to school also she needs vaccine when she goes to school December they have holidays what was the use giving at that time. They are very rude in giving reply also. If GP only not taking proper take where else we should go. Please take some action.

I submitted a form with an outline of my concerns, and a call was scheduled with a GP soon after. The GP actually called a day early due to scheduling changes and was very clear about the reason. She listened to my concerns, asked appropriate questions and made me feel comfortable in telling her about my situation. After going through the phone consultation she booked me in for an appointment the same day. Upon arrival at the surgery, the receptionist was extremely helpful and very friendly. I saw the G on time, she gave me follow up actions and was very clear on what I needed to do. I was able to book a follow up appointment at a convenient time, and again, the receptionist was very helpful, despite having several calls to field at the same time. Overall it was a very smooth and easy experience and everyone I met was helpful and supportive.

Suggested improvements
My only feedback is that automated check-in machine was very slow, and when I arrived I tried to use it, but it kept causing an error. This led to a bit of a queue forming behind me. The receptionist was very good about checking me in manually, but if the appointment machine had been working properly it would have reduced some stress from the patients and staff.

Grossly inefficient and they don’t bother reviewing appointment requests properly. I tried requesting a face to face appointment using the website and explained the nature of my problem. I work full time and opt for phone appointments where I can but this was not one of those situations. The website asked about availability for appointments and I specifically said I couldn’t make the first couple of days but free after that. All aspects of this were ignored. First, I got a message saying they felt it could be dealt with via phone appointment. Then I get a message asking me to take a photo. I couldn’t take a photo as it was sub surface so I had to write in the photo text box to explain that. Finally they realise I need an in person appointment despite that being requested at the beginning and they go ahead and booked it for the day I was not available. Pointless and wasted everyone’s time with the needless back and forth. Also meant I had to rearrange annual leave which was wholly unnecessary.

I visited the clinic today for blood tests, as well as getting a call about a referral that was being made for me and some change of address issues. The woman who called was very kind and caring. Her manner was gentle and she showed genuine concern about me, which really made my day. Whilst at the clinic, the receptionist was welcoming, and the nurse who took my bloods was wonderful. Even though my session with her was about 5 minutes or less, in that short space of time we chatted and laughed. I left feeling very happy, and lucky too - to belong to such a great practice. Thank you all for such a great service.
