I telephoned the surgery with concerns about some worrying symptoms I was experiencing, the receptionist I spoke to was extremely understanding & assured someone would call me the following day. This happened & I was able to see a clinician later that day. Although I don’t yet know the root cause of my symptoms, I feel reassured by the care & support I have so far received
Appointment made by Doctor for blood tests after I had a call to go to the surgery as a matter of urgency. Recently it has been impossible to get any appointment when telephoning the surgery even at 08.00 am .
Phoned and was given an appointment a week later, but was not in a hurry for one
Cannot get through on phones even at 8 am appointments are gone. Thanks to a very helpful call handler and after days of trying and saying I had been to pharmacy and done 111 both of which said I must see a doctor did I get an appointment. My Doctor my brilliant.
Hello, Thank you for leaving feedback for us. Your suggestion for improvement is an excellent one, and it is something we have been working on. We have been introducing systems in the last few months to to support admin staff in signposting patients to correct services, this will help to reduce the amount of people that book a GP appointment when they don't need a GP specifically. As an example one of the services we have been expanding this year is our musculoskeletal (MSK) service as we have a lot of requests to see GPs for muscle or joint pain, we now have a MSK specialist in three times a week allowing us to divert our GPs to see alternate conditions. Thank you for your suggestion, it is something we will continue to work on. Many thanks, Billingshurst Surgery
Phoned for an appointment for my 3 month old baby. Receptionist was very helpful to get me an appointment for the same day!
