Appointments in general are rare, and a nightmare to get one, although booked this one online as was quite easy

The nearest appointment was over 3 weeks away BUT this wasn’t urgent so it didn’t matter.

The bed used by the nurse to do my smear IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. The nurse was so apologetic and embarrassed. I had no trouble getting on or off the bed but due to it not being the right type the position you have to lay in hurt my back. Also if I was a larger or less agile it would have been very difficult indeed. The issues are: * Too narrow * Has large metal “keys” sticking out both sides that have to be avoided getting on and off. * Because its adjustable the low down position women need to be in for a smear means your back is in one of the movable sections with no support - very uncomfortable.

I rang the surgery after 111 advised i needed to see someone urgently that day. I was told No appointments were available so I asked what my options were. They suggested A&E but instead I waited and rang back the next day. Amazingly, when I rang at the turning of 8am I was 5th in the queue - I'm usually a minimum of 15 so I was in shock. Luckily managed to get a phone consultation that day. I was then told I need a blood test by the doc - the next available slot was 11th Jan (nearly 3 weeks away!!

Everyone we have something wrong I leave it a few days before attempting an appointment as it's just so hard to get one, so when we call, it's usually because we desperately need one. I'm so disappointed with how hard it is to get an appointment- they're like gold dust.

I have been having my foot treated and dressed by then nurse for quite some time now and she has been amazing as have the other nurses and the doctors I have seen recently. My nurse has been so kind and fits me in early on a morning. At some points I have been very low seeing no end to the problem and the pain has been unbearable and she has always been caring and supportive before I have felt no one got it but her kindness and compassion has help as much as the great treatment I have received. Thank you to all the staff it is hard to be seen but once you are the service give is great and the staff work hard to provide a top service in difficult times

More resources for the surgery to allow them to do what they do so well.

You can't get through on phone and when you do all appts booked...I work full-time can't stay on phone for long

The old system was better..ring up get booked in for appt for when there is one free....
