The triage system used at the Surgery is not fit for purpose. It is extremely difficult to get an appointment and even then one does not necessarily see someone who can give the help required.

See above. It would be much better if one could initially see a doctor rather than someone less qualified.

No matter how ill you are feeling - after waiting on the phone for 30mins or more only to be told no one to help you only makes your illness worse!

Make it easier to get bloods checked - especially for vulnerable/elderly- which at present can only be done by appointment with GP which is impossible!

My consultation with the Dr was faultless. Very helpful, showed empathy and understanding. Provided me with information on further services I could refer to. Checked the hospital had completed their referral to MSK, made a note to do a referral herself to MSK just incase the hospital hadnt. Emailed the prescription admin to compile an urgent script for my medication as id only received 5 days on discharge from hospital. However, script was never done and sent to pharmacy. I had to ring 111 to get medication for sat and Sunday. Because one of the medications was a controlled drug it was very difficult to get this and took up most of the day sat to get it prescribed. Missing 3 doses in the process. Receptionist was very apologetic when I rang on Monday morning and organised my script to be signed and sent urgently.

Prescription admin to have completed the task they'd been asked to do by the doctor.
