I was given an appointment a week in advance to see a doctor for a relatively minor complaint. However, when she saw me she diagnosed skin cancer and arranged a referral and also a blood test rhe following day. Both nurses were excellent, and we laughed so much. I had to hold a long time to get through but once I got through it was easy to make an appointment as I was booking for a routine thing with a nurse. Previous recent experience tells me it’s very hard to get a doc appointment when you are actually ill due to lack of capacity. However, when this recently happened to me, the receptionist was as helpful as she could be by telling me to try calling back at lunchtime. That did work on that occasion.

On this occasion, nothing. The appointment was on time, the nurse was lovely and put me completely at ease. She explained clearly what would happen with my sample and when I could expect to get the results. I couldn’t fault the care. Thank you.

It's not the surgery's fault. They do the best that can given the circumstances

My appointment this week was exceptional service from the practice nurse, she went out of her way checking every single thing to narrow down what my problem could be, even calling me the next day and getting me back in as things had worsened. Also I would like to say I had fantastic help from a very young receptionist who went out of her way to guide me through the online consultation process, without her I would have struggled and probably just left not trying to get into the app. Thank to these amazing people.

I can’t seem to get an appointment with my actual Dr that’s my only gripe.
