NHS 111 advised last week that I should see a doctor 'today or tomorrow ', but no appointments were available until next week. That made me worried without providing effective triage. However as I was deaf I was offered a micro suction appointment yesterday, and this has reduced my deafness significantly. As I am still unsteady I plan to keep my appointment with the doctor next week, but if my balance improves over the weekend I will probably cancel as I know that appointments are scarce and others may have a greater need

Suggested improvements
If there were enough doctors and none ever got sick, then there would be no problems. As it is, unfortunately ...

Response from Billingshurst Surgery

Hello, Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review with us. By the sounds of it you had things well in hand, but I am sorry that we were unable to offer an appointment sooner for you. Thank you also for appreciating the challenges we are facing. We are continuing our commitment to expand and adapt the way our appointment systems work to try and offer as much capacity as we can. We continually review/tweak the appointments system based on suggestions and pressures, and try to make bigger changes to it every few months or so to allow the changes time to bed in. We last adapted the appointment system in August 2022, we are planning to do this again in January 2023 as we should also be having some more staff joining us around that time. Many thanks, Billingshurst Surgery
