I saw the respiratory nurse for an asthma/COPD review (the first for four years). She was very helpful and has booked ongoing annual reviews. She suggested I book a GP appointment to discuss other health matters but I was unable to do this with the receptionist on my way out. She suggested I book on the app or website which I tried as soon as I returned home. There are no appointments available on either. The receptionist suggested I tried at 8 am Monday morning and the best way is to visit the surgery at that time. I am recovering from covid and am not usually awake at that time . The app and website appear to only operate duty surgery hours so I am at a loss to be honest as I really do need to see a doctor

Suggested improvements
Make your app/website useable 24/7 even if it’s to make appointments far into the future.it is so frustrating not being able to make appointments by phone and many elderly patients will Probably die if they can’t get an appointment with a GP! A lot of elderly people are not very tech savvy and don’t have computers or smart phones so how do they get an appointment? They have to drag themselves out first thing in the morning and present themselves at the surgery !! This is not patient friendly and I feel it is demeaning
