This time the service was completely satisfactory. However sometimes the receptionists can be difficult.
Actual appointment great but can never get through to surgery and receptionists not massively helpful with issue. It's taken over 4 days since apt to get sick note and prescription despite chasing surgery.
I was scheduled in for a pill review but it was put down as a blood test. Nurse wasn’t qualified to do a pill review, she’d told me but continued anyway. She had no idea what to do nor was their any advice actually given. I had to take charge of my appointment and explain what usually happened and what I needed. Receptionist was rude and gossiping on the phone instead of dealing with long line. Hopefully my next pill review will be better. Terrible experience.
Terrible communication by email. I’ve waited 2 weeks to get a sick note authorised, and I’ve had no response by email when I’ve politely chased this. I’ve tried phoning, but after holding for 10 minutes I’ve given up.
I’ve been with this practice for many years , and I can honestly say I’ve never felt so let down and undervalued.
I worry about the care I’m going to receive if I stay here, so am seriously considering a move. Shame really, because the GP’s are lovely once you can actually through.. It’s just the organisation of the Practice which is seriously lacking. Pick up the phone….answer your patient’s emails in a timely manner….please!
Doctor Link summary advised I did not need a clinician for my daughter's sx. I did as sx were going on too long.
Time consuming filling out survey when should have been working. Why can't we phone and speak to a call handler? Why signposted to online when a quick call would have sorted it out in minutes? Dont you have a symptom sorter? Took ages to get an appointment and diffucult sparing the time to do all the online questions whilst at work.
Replied yes to msg asking if I needed a clinician to respond. Advised of sx. Was invited for a f2f the next day. Appt arranged for 11.15am. Could not make time as working elsewhere, rearranged for later that day.
If I was asked what time suited me (which I wasn't), I could have saved further back and forth emails to get a time suitable.
Feels like barriers are put up at every opportunity. No human contact, all done electronically. Poor service. Feel I would like to move myself and family to another practice.
