I recently visited this surgery, and was shocked at the advice I received. Instead of actually listening to me, the GP gave a link to a website and the name of an app. This does not help me at all. My actually issue was not solved and this has happened three times now. I am sick and tired of receiving low quality service. I tried explaining what was wrong with me, and the GP did not listen. I was recommended to try something that will not actually help me. Giving me links to websites and apps, is NOT what I expect from a doctor. I might as well have stayed at home and googled it.

Response from Beversbrook Medical Centre

Thanks for this feedback and I apologise that you did not experience the care you had anticipated on this occasion. Here at Beversbrook Medical Centre, we do embrace technology to improve patient care, but I am sorry to hear that you feel that the website and the suggestion of an app were not helpful for you. I would very much like to help you to get the best service from the Practice as I feel that we can certainly improve upon your experiences to date. I wonder if you would be so kind as to contact me at emmybutcher@nhs.net with your details so that we may investigate this further. I look forward to hearing from you. Kindest regards, Emmy Butcher - Managing Partner BMC.
