I have seen the nurse twice now for different ailments and have twice not been diagnosed or prescribed medication- despite telling them what was wrong and what I believed the illness to be. In the end, on both occasions I have sought advise elsewhere and received the medication I needed to treat my problems. I would never see the nurse for medical problems except that I have been unable to get appointments with a GP for more then 3 weeks and a nurse was the only thing offered. I was also disappointed that the GP I did speak to over the phone completely disregarded my concerns, and I later found out that I was correct after seeing my optician. I would not recommend this surgery from these last appointments. Until recently I would have said this was a great surgery.

Hello there, I am very sorry to hear that this has been your experience and that we have not met your expectations. I would certainly like the opportunity to investigate this for you. All our health care professionals work alongside our GPs and will be able to provide you with their clinical advice and guidance based on their own assessment of your symptoms. This may not always be the outcome you were expecting or hoping for but you are entitled to ask for a second opinion should you feel that this is appropriate. I am sorry also to hear that you feel you were not able to get an appointment with your GP for three weeks. You may find it helpful to use your Systm Online account to review a live version of our available clinics. You can also use the messaging service in your Systm Online to message any of our team, including your own GP, if you feel that you need advice and guidance or that you need to be seen earlier than our next available routine appointment.
