Previous years, I found the surgery to operate fairly well. The downfall was an incident in 2015 and another in 2017 - both concerning, initially, the first GP I saw Dr. A. Regarding the incident in 2017, I was misdiagnosed 3 times, all following the first misdiagnosis by the first GP Dr A. Not a small matter, but a potentially life threatening one. Only through the diligence of a doctor (Dr W) at Linden House (4th time) performing small surgery and sending off a sample to be analysed, it was discovered I had a cancerous melanoma. If I had left it, as I had been told 3 times there was nothing to worry about, it probably would have gone to stage 3 or 4 with a 50% chance of the cancer coming back. My suggestion on improvement is the practice needs to be educated in melanomas as early referral is paramount.
