Following a bike accident which was entirely my own fault I broken my radius at the wrist end which when set and healed resulted in me not being able to rotate my wrist and so lower arm outwards. After consultation with Mr Wisam Al-Hakim a corrective operation was discussed which given my age (56), occupation (PE teacher)and level of activity (high) had variables fore and against?? I decided I wanted the opt. and from start to finish was completely confident in Mr Al-Hakim abilities and honesty. The result for me was brilliant and everything works as it should. I couldn't recommend this doctor, consultant, surgeon more. The rest of me needs rebuilding now!!

I have been a patient of Dr Al-Hakim for nearly 3 years and he has carried out two procedures on each of my hand to correct the affects of Dupuytrens Contracture. I am absolutely delighted with the results and I can’t thank him enough.

A wonderful man! He showed patience in explaining my condition. He spoke in a clear understandable manner and didn't rush me into any decisions.
