I had an operation on my thumb and I honestly could not have wished for a better person to do it Mr Al-Hakim. He made me feel so comfortable, talked me through the step by step process. I felt like I was in safe hands completely with him, more to say that he done an incredible job with the surgery. I can’t thank him and his amazing team as well as all the hospital staff for my experience through all my process. Thank you so much. Amazing Dr and amazing staff! :)

Mr Al-Hakim made me feel comfortable & at ease from the moment I met him. All my consultations were on time ( very important to self employed). He listened to me, asked questions etc then we discussed how he could help. I decided on an operation to reconnect a ruptured rotator cuff last April 2019. He's advice was that I could expect at least 60 to 70% success. After the operation we discussed the outcome etc & I started Physio etc. A few weeks on I was back to work (builder / Carpenter & Joiner ) on light duties. Within 8 weeks I stopped Physio & was working normally with some minor discomfort & restriction of mobility. I stepped up the exercise & work etc. all as discussed & almost one year on I have made a 95% recovery to the point that I have no pain discomfort etc. I intend to continue the stretching & strength exercises & expect to be 100% soon!!! I have never met a consultant who made me feel so comfortable as soon as l met him, listened to me ,and genuinely cared. I would recommend him 100% Such a lovely caring man, I was beginning to lose my faith in doctors until I saw Mr Al Hakim.

Mr Al-Haskim is a very polite confident doctor,as soon as you meet him you feel that he will be able to help,. I had a long standing injury to my wrist hat had no it healed well and a undiagnosed dislocation of my thumb. He operated on my wrist first and then the thumb twice and for the first time in ages I am out of pain . I would highly recommend him for orthopaedic care. Also a thoroughly nice man .

I met Mr Al Hakim after years of enduring pain in my left shoulder. GPs just sent me for physio or shrugged their shoulders. I was lucky enough to meet Mr Al Hakim and from the first moment of our consultation I had full confidence in the proposed operation. The operation itself was amazing, pain free at last. The scar was hardly visible and I was ready for reablement. The best thing about the operation was Mr Al Hakim himself. He was a most attentive listener and gave very full and descriptive explanations' as to what to expect after the operation. He has the most caring and kind persona. I hope Mr Al Hakim won't mind me saying I found him to be a true gentleman in every respect. You feel he has your very best interests at heart as well as his amazing prowess. I really cannot speak too highly of him and his work. Thank you so much for giving me my painfree shoulder.
