The doctor gave us all options available and put no pressure on us to have the operation but ensured he gave us pros and cons for all the options so we could make an informed decision in our own time. He was always very friendly, and willing to spend time answering any questions or concerns we had. The operation went smoothly and all the staff were friendly, kind, helpful, knowledgeable and patient. The first few days of recovery were as expected with gradual improvements in terms of pain and energy. However, day 6/7 the pain kicked up a notch. This was apparently when the healing really kicked in. On these days eating was the most painful, but energy levels had greatly improved. My son is 12 and by day 9 was up to attending some school (so he only missed 5 whole days of school). He went back part time coming home for lunch and he remained off games for that week. But returned to normal the following week. He is now 3 weeks exactly post op. He feels so much better than he has done for over a year. He does tire a little but he is incredibly sporty so that is normally after several hours of sport! He has no pain at all from his tonsils or adenoids and absolutely no regrets re the operation. Thank you to Mr Khemani and all the amazing staff.

Mr Khemani recently carried an intracapsular tonsillectomy procedure on my 17 year old daughter at Gatwick Park Hospital. From the initial consulatation to the post op follow up Mr Khemani was exceptionally thorough and accurate with his explanation of all our options, what the procedure involved and what to expect after the operation. The procedure went exceptionally well and the care at the hospital was wonderful, both to our daughter and to my husband and I. Mr Kemani’s secretary, Jane, is very helpful and patient and lovely to deal with over the phone. I would highly recommend Mr Khemani, his extensive knowledge is very reassuring, in addition, he is a charming gentlemen with a caring, relaxed and professional manner.

Dr Khemani's care was first class, not only did he keep me informed at all times, he provided a great deal of extra information to help with a re-accruing condition. The successful outcome of the operation and his advise on preventative medicine to help with the issue, was a great relief. A first rate Consultant and a lovely person too. Many Thanks Stuart

I cant recommend Mr Sam Khemani enough. He listens, cares, put me at ease and was always available to answer any questions I had throughout my consultations, operation and post op. I specifically had a lingual tonsillectomy and recently sent him this feedback directly hence posting it to share with anyone considering something similar. "I have to say the results are incredible, I didn’t realise how unwell I had been feeling for so long which I’m sure is often the way. I actually have a sense of smell back! And more importantly I can get home after a full on day at work and read my children a bedtime story which is something I often struggled with given my chronic throat problems and pain"
