My son had suffered with ear infections for years, and seen different doctors, he also has autism and needs clear explanation of events and understanding. Mr Khemani was very helpful and talked to my son to explain what was happening, and was very caring in his approach. I had to contact him out of hours at one point, and he was quick with the response.
I would recommend him as a consultant without hesitation.

Mr Khemani took me on from another consultant and he was sympathetic and performed a highly satisfactory procedure which should, I hope, solve the problem longer-term.

He listened carefully to what I was saying about my symptoms and was extremely kind, understanding and reassuring. I felt as though he cared and I was totally confident in his diagnosis and suggestions for treatment - I won't hesitate to go back to him should the symptoms recur.

I cannot thank Mr Khemani enough for the care he has taken of my 12 year old daughter. Diagnosed with an extensive cholesteatoma and total loss of ossicular bones, my daughter had very little hearing in her right ear. Mr Khemani carried out surgeries that have removed the disease and restored near normal levels of hearing. We are thrilled with the result. Mr Khemani was kind and professional at all times and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Dr Khemani paid attention to the individuality of my case and suggested a less severe operation that significantly improved my recovery time. I am grateful that he was willing to discuss different procedures with me. He was also very attentive following the operation.

I am a Consultant ENT Surgeon and Clinical Lead for ENT at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
I have extensive experience in the medical and surgical management of general ENT conditions affecting both adults and children. My subspecialist expertise includes all types of ear problems including the surgical management of hearing loss and discharging ears as well as the management of balance disorders. I also have special expertise in eustachian tube problems, snoring and sleep apnoea, voice and sinus problems.
I have one of the largest case series of intracapsular coblation tonsillectomy in the South of England and teach this technique to other surgeons around the world.
