Mr El-Sayed helped me with a gynaecological condition called adenomyosis, which had caused me to become desperately unwell. He started me on a course of Zoladex and eventually performed my laparoscopic hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophrectomy. Mr El-Sayed was very caring, warm and good humoured, and never rushed my appointments. He was very keen to involve me in my own treatment and he took all my concerns on board. On the day of surgery, he removed a lot of adhesions that were causing pain as well as my primary op, and he handled this with great care and skill. He made sure to come and see me after to explain what happened, things to look out for, and to wish me well. I am so pleased Mr El-Sayed was my OB/GYN, and I would definitely recommend him. He has really made a difference to my life, more than he could ever know! Even though I have a long recovery ahead, I am so grateful to him. Mr El-Sayed is a superb example of how a consultant should conduct himself, and I wish there were more like him.
