It has been almost 12 weeks since my surgery and what a fantastic job Mr Marco Nestor Emmanuel Malahias has done. It’s heeled very well and the scarring has almost disappeared. During the procedure he was very supportive and talking me through the process and the aftercare was fantastic. 5 star service and a very happy patient. Thanks again. Jacqueline B

Full care end to end with this Doctor, he was clear before the surgery to my neck, on the day before I went under and the after care has been the best I have ever had. Everything has been fully explained every step of the way. He obviously has a good team around him and there is literally nothing to fault, he has made the NHS look great again in my eyes.

The doctor took the time to see me before and after the operation, he talked to my wife and I, explained how to apply ointment to my scar and listened to any concerns. He even showed us a quicker route out of the hospital. Great care given.

I first met Marco Malahias when I was a patient on the ward at Good Hope hospital. I was at my lowest point and totally traumatised by what I had been through. Following a hysterectomy my wound had become infected and become necrotic across the whole area. I had debridement surgery on my abdomen and a significant amount of necrotic tissue was removed. This resulted in a very wide and deep open wound which was 28 cms across. To me this was terrifying and I couldn’t see how this could be recovered but Marco was totally unphased by it. He clearly had a plan which he had confidence and belief in and a calmness that puts the patient totally at ease. His knowledge and the way he treats the patient can only be described as exceptional. I had total belief and confidence in what he was telling me on treatment and recovery. Everything he said regarding stages of recovery and outcomes turned out to be totally correct. It was not just the medical side but also how he treats the patient and the confidence he inspires. This results in belief and positive thinking which, I am sure helps the recovery process. He listens to your concerns and treated both myself and my husband with total respect. He would always take the time at each consultation to ask if we would like to ask any further questions. He also has an excellent team in the plastics dressings department who were also very positive and would update and encourage me at every dressing change on wound progress since the previous change. I really don’t have the words to say how much Marco has helped me to get to where I am now both medically and psychologically from where I started but he has my eternal gratitude. If I ever need to be referred to the plastics team again I hope I will come under Marco’s care. Thank You Marco

The most satisfactory consultation with a doctor that I have ever witnessed. In every respect, his explanation of my wifes' melanoma and the course of action required was clear, concise and delivered in a very warm and friendly way. If the follow up procedures are as exacting, I'd give him six stars for everything. Thankyou Marco.
