I have been in a great deal of pain for many years and finally I decided to do something about it. I met initially with Mr Arambage to discuss my history and we talked at length about my options. He was very understanding and not at all pushy - but put me at ease as I was very nervous. We decided the best course of action would be a diagnostic op to discover what was going on. I didn't have to wait long and had surgery on 28 May. I had extensive endometriosis which Mr Arambage removed. Mr Arambage came to see me following surgery and we discussed his findings and again he put my mind at rest. I have been so pleased with my treatment and recovery is going well. I would highly recommend Mr Arambage and his secretary Fiona - both are truly kind people who put their patients first.

I can’t help but recommend Dr Kirana Arambage for his expertise and care received from the initial consultation to my very first operation. An absolute expert on endometriosis. All my questions were answered and concerns addressed. Everything went smoothly and with awesome support from Fiona Goulthorp, Private Secretary to Dr Kirana Arambage. Thank you.

Well, where do I start?! Mr Arambage is the kindest consultant I've ever spoken to, and he listened to everything that I had to say, including all of my concerns - something that I haven't experienced in 16+ years of treatment for endometriosis. I saw him privately as a mass was found on my ovary during a baseline scan for IVF treatment, and they weren't sure whether it was malignant or not. I booked a private MRI scan first, and then an appointment with Mr Arambage to discuss the results a week later. He explained everything fully, in an excellent amount of detail and reassured us very confidently that there was no sign of malignancy. Also after 16 years of investigations and treatment, I finally found out what grade endometriosis I have, and also found out that I have mild adenomyosis too. I now know what I need to do going forward, and feel very reassured that the pain and issues I've had over the years isn't just in my head - I feel validated, and I'm so grateful for that. Now on to his secretary, Fiona. Fiona is absolutely fantastic and so, so helpful. I think she's the best secretary I've ever had the pleasure of speaking to. She responded very quickly to my emails and was very patient with answering all of my questions. She even sent through my MRI report super quickly, so that I could have it for an NHS appointment I was having the next day. Overall an absolutely fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend both My Arambage and Fiona to anyone experiencing difficulties with endometriosis or adenomyosis. Thank you again!

Mr Arambage is the best surgeon I've had ever due to his super personable and genuinely caring nature. He is so friendly and made me feel at ease from our first interaction. He made me fully aware of all that would happen and I also got written details of everything. He's always calming and kept my family up to date after my surgery. The follow up after surgery was also brilliant as all the details (and photographic evidence!) allowed me to fully understand and come to terms with what I'd been dealing and now no longer have to - which is crucial to my recovery mentally. I cannot thank him enough and he's also got one of the best laughs ever!!! Huge shoutout to his secretary Fiona! She is a G and amazing at her job!! Hands down the best secretary I've ever encountered! She was super quick to respond to my many emails and oh so patient! She made me feel calm and prepared for the surgery in a way I can't explain! All in all, a great team and I'm so thankful to them all!

Mr Arambage was kind, empathetic and totally open about all possibilities and what was recommended. During procedures he made me feel at ease and was more than happy to answer my many, many questions. When I had to make an emergency appointment 6 days after surgery, his secretary (Fiona G) made it happen within hours of contact. Great service, lovely people.
