I had my first consultation with Mr. Vaghese in August 2020 concerning incisional hernias which had occurred as a consequence of previous surgery in May 2018, August 2018, and finally August 2019. Mr. Varghese explained that the problem could be resolved using abdominal wall reconstruction surgery. Before the operation, Mr. Vaghese carried out a thorough assessment of my medical condition and took time to explain the procedure. At all times Mr. Vaghese was polite and made me feel at ease, listening to what I had to say. I was made aware of the complexity of the surgery, however at all times I had full confidence in Mr. Vaghese's ability, and that he would ensure that I had the best possible care. This has continued post-surgery and I have always believed that he has put my wellbeing first. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Vaghese to friends and family.

I was fully informed about my double hernia repair ( by keyhole surgery) and made aware of a slight health problem. The operation was successful, recovery splendid and I'm feeling back to normal well within the expected 6 weeks. I have seen my own doctor regarding the other health problem and initial progress has been made. Thank you so much. Brilliant work!

I saw Mr Varghese over a recurring double bilingual hernia,which had been causing myself discomfort and pain for quite a period of time. He totally put me at ease explaining the procedure(which was different to the open surgery I had in the 1980's for the same problem). I had the surgery and the aftercare and explanation of how the operation went was fully explained and a successful outcome. Mr Varghese is very approachable and takes time to answer any questions you may have and his work speaks for itself.

Mr Varghese was exceptionally kind and caring. He took my home circumstances into consideration when planning my care. I was in very safe hands. He is the "old style of doctor" who treats people as individuals and not just an NHS number. He explained my diagnosis and treatment fully and encouraged me to ask questions when I needed to. He had time for me. I shall always feel fortunate that he became my doctor. He is a real gentleman. At all times I felt at ease and comfortable in his care. He is a wonderful ambassador for the NHS.
