At my first appointment I felt totally at ease and knew he was the right consultant for me . The initial care ,treatment and follow was excellent and appreciated.

I have had problems with my duodenal stricture for 10 years under various different consultants and numerous stretches last year was the worst year of my life ending up in icu for 4 days and then recovering for months after finally being transferred into Mr Vargese care he saw me quickly and explained that it was time for the stomach bypass operation explaining that I would need to be in hospital for a couple of weeks on an tpn drip to help my recovery after the op.... I was as you can imagine scared he put my mind at ease and while I was in hospital he understood the need for me to go home to family on day release and arranged this for me I cannot speak highly enough of the care and understanding he has as a surgeon you really do feel that you are his only patient and you know you are in safe hands... thanks for all your help I now feel amazing the best I have felt in such a long time and that's down to your good work.. Thanks again Jo Middleton x

Mr Varghese carried out a full stomach operation lasting several hours. I wasnt sure that I wanted to go through with it after having 2 big operations by other surgeons. Mr Varghese was very patient and gave me the time to come to terms with the operation. I found him to be kind, considerate, caring, and most of all a very kind person. 12 months on from my op I'm feeling the best I have felt for many years. Thank you Mr Varghese for making this possiable
