Mr. Phadnis took the time to listen and then to investigate beyond the reasons given on the original referral. The result was astoundingly successful surgery on the elbow of my dominant arm (not originally referred but problematic for years) which I can now straighten and use normally; minimal incisions and therefore minimal scarring. Post-op some discomfort but no real pain. Eight months later he operated on the elbow originally referred and removed two deep lipomas which were impinging on the median nerve. Once more, a very successful procedure. I had no post-op pain and very quickly had full use of my other arm. At each consultation Mr. Phadnis was confident, calm and appropriately informative including showing and discussing imaging results. At one point I asked for an extra consultation as questions had arisen for me pre-surgery. A prompt appointment was made and my questions - borne of anxiety - were discussed and I was reassured. If any more probs arise with my arms I should be glad to see Mr. Phadnis again. Thank-you.

Mr Phadnis has performed two operations on my elbow, fully explaining the procedures and outcomes on both occasions and fully addressing any concerns. I was completely reassured by his knowledge of the most up to date surgical procedures. He is an extremely caring and courteous and an excellent surgeon. I am very grateful for the care and treatment received from Mr Phadnis and am so pleased with the improvement in my elbow. I cannot recommend him more highly.

Mr Phadnis was exceptionally thorough in explaining all the risks vs rewards of my elbow replacement, and what i could expect as an outcome after the operation. Plus offering support and suggestions on what to do ahead of surgery to maximise the outcome. However, I would say the outcome of the surgery far exceeded my expectations, and i could not be more pleased. In addition, I cannot fault the aftercare received, which enabled me to manage my progress well as I have a tendency to be a bit impatient. The surgery went really well, and my scarring is now (18 months later) almost invisible and I have an incredible improvement in my overall lifestyle from my new elbow. Would highly recommend.

I would like to thank Mr Phidnas for his courteous expeditious and successful treatment of my reverse shoulder replacement. At all times Mr Phidnas explained the next procedure and we discussed the possible outcomes of my treatment. All the appointments were conducted in a friendly relaxed atmosphere including pre and after the operation. Thanks to Mr. Joideep Phadnis, my 92 year old mother can use her arm again(98%). She broke her elbow badly and the bone was sticking out. On top of that her paper thin skin had been torn about 25 cm. She arrived at midnight in Brighton via Chichester as they could not manage her elbow there. Mr. Phadnis operated on her the following morning. She was second on the list. The following patient was a car accident and a complicated operation which continued all afternoon till about 7. Mr. Phadnis, then phoned me to calmly explain every detail of the operation on my mother. I still do not understand how a surgeon can have such stamina.!!! Having originally been told that my mother's arm was a limb threatening situation, she can use her arm freely and on top of that, her scar is not noticeable!! I could not recommend this extremely kind, caring hard working and expert surgeon more.
