I sustained a broken Collar bone as a result of Mountain biking. The fracture was tenting slightly and the X-ray showed it to be in 3 pieces. Whilst not the worst break possible Mr Phadonis suggested that an operation would be the best course of action to guarantee me a speedy recovery. The operation went well with the side effects and potential risks explained clearly beforehand. I was able to go on a pre-booked ski holiday 7 weeks later and had full movement back again, I'm riding (carefully) again too. Excellent care, very professional and trust worthy, clear explanations around pro's and cons of surgery.

My 15 year old son Dylan, broke the radial head in his right elbow whilst mountain biking. After 2 unsuccessful attempts to fix it satisfactory, he was left with very limited movement, making it difficult for him to write, eat or ride his bike. Our consultant, unsure of how best to help Dylan decided to take him to an elbow and shoulder symposium to present his case. It was here that Joideep became aware of Dylan and decided to take on his case. From our very first consultation joideep explained the options and gave us confidence that he could improve Dylan's outcome and get movement back in his right arm. The cutting edge operation, which involved removing the radial head and inserting a ligament graft has, so far, been a great improvement. Throughout all consultations, the operation and the follow up care, we have felt informed and re-assured by Joideep. Everything has been explained clearly and sensitively. His manner with us and with Dylan we found very professional, approachable and re-assuring. Dylan can now do many of the things he previously had problems with. We are extremely grateful to Joideep and his team.

I had an operation to fix and plate a 13 year old non-union of a clavicle. Mr Phadnis made me feel like I was part of the decision making and was kept informed of everything to do with the procedure throughout the process. I really felt like I was in good hands, and this has paid off beautifully. Four months post operation and I was able to ride a long distance bike ride covering up to 350 km in one day, non stop. 5 1/2 months postop and I have now been discharged with clear union of the bone and no discomfort.
