On arrival at my first appointment with Dr Phadnis in Hayward’s Heath in summer 2021, I was sceptical of the prospect I was ever going to receive help for my elbow injury which I had sustained in 2014. There was visible misplaced bone under the skin and previous doctors had told me I was fine. I had been seen twice at a&e in Brighton at the time of the injury and by other professionals in Eastbourne in 2020. Dr Phadnis was empathetic but also strictly professional. The risks of the procedure were explained to me in full detail and he was truthful in also advising that surgery may not reduce my pain. I felt extremely confident after researching Dr Phadnis’ experience in the medical field and continued to receive fantastic care from him once I was transferred to the Montefiore Hospital. On the day of the procedure Dr Phadnis came to check I was ok and informed me on approximately how long it would take and what I could expect on returning home from hospital. I really felt at ease whilst waiting for the operation after this considering I arrived at the hospital in the morning secretly anxious. Dr Phadnis checked in on me again after the procedure in the recovery room and assured me that it had been a success. One piece of bone had seemed particularly tricky to remove but I could see that Dr Phadnis was extremely pleased with his work which again relieved any anxiety I may have been experiencing. My quality of life has improved since my procedure as my pain is now minimal. I have not incurred any side effects or infection and my scar is extremely neat. I cannot fault Dr Phadnis at any stage of my care. He is professional, kind, honest and extremely talented in his field of work. I am a survivor of domestic abuse and suffer with PTSD. I do not generally like to be around men but Dr Phadnis never gave me any reason to feel alarmed, I was only ever reassured and made to feel safe at all times. By far the best Doctor I have ever encountered, I feel blessed to have received his expertise. Thank you so much!

I'm absolutely thrilled with the out come of my elbow surgery, diagnosed and performed by Mr Phadnis. Pre surgery I was unable to play any tennis or squash or barely grip a cup!. Post surgery I'm now returning to sport with no pain at all.

I had a fall two years ago and dislocated my left shoulder and in doing so also chipped out a bone. I had a consultation with Mr Phadnis in the morning and he operated in the afternoon. All was going well until I had another fall almost a year later. This time, I badly damaged my right shoulder and thankfully was able to go back to see Mr Phadnis again. After having a scan, he told me I needed urgent surgery, or he may not be able to repair it. All went really well with the surgery and 10 months later I am so pleased I took his advise to have it repaired. After the second fall, my left shoulder began to ache again and Mr Phadnis explained what he thought would help if I had a second operation. I am pleased to say that I had the surgery just two weeks ago and am doing really well and have very little pain at all. I cannot thank Mr Phadnis enough for looking after me so very well over the last two years. He is a great surgeon who is caring, compassionate and explains everything, so you have complete trust in his work. He is also an extremely nice person who makes you feel at ease from the first time you meet him, which I think is very important. If you have any shoulder or elbow problems, Mr Phadnis is the best consultant you could have to fix them.
