Mr Tuffaha gave me the devastating news in December 18 that I had breast cancer but at the same appointment gave me the reassurance I needed that he would be providing whatever treatment was necessary to eradicate it. Following successful surgery and a course of radiotherapy I am now completely clear and have already booked a balancing op with Mr Tuffaha (at my request). Throughout my treatment I was so impressed with how Mr Tuffaha and all of the breast care and radiotherapy teams explained every step of my treatment plan, what to expect in terms of both physical and emotional effects my treatments may have and the wonderful support offered throughout. Naturally I was somewhat nervous going into my first op but I have no real concerns now regarding my forthcoming op as I now know I’ll be in the safe hands of a truly professional team and as such I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Tuffaha to anyone finding themselves in this unfortunate and unexpected situation.
