I was referred to Mr. Pereira from my GP by chance for a herniated disc. I found him a friendly surgeon who was great at explaining my options for treatment, not only discussing surgery but also the alternatives. Prior to the operation, his team was excellent at explaining the procedure and what the likely timescale after surgery would be too. He visited the following day after surgery to check up on me and make sure all was well. I'd happily recommend him to anyone who requires his help.

I was transferred from my local hospital in Surrey to St Georges after a serious brain haemorrhage. I was under Mr Pereira's care during my 2 weeks admission to the hospital which included time in ICU as well as the ward. I felt incredibly well looked after and listened to. He had a excellent bedside manner and his care was very holistic and patient centred throughout. As a GP myself I did feel more anxious about being a patient, but he had an excellent rapport and made me and my family feel listened to and comfortable throughout- clearly discussing management plans with us at each stage. His care really was superb.

Dr E Pereira - easy to talk to, kind and listen patients carefully. As I found myself in the hospital due to an accident with serious neck injuries but Dr Pereira took care of me, went through two cervical spine operations. I trusted Dr Pereira completely and would recommend him strongly. He is very straight forward and fair when it comes to what exactly needs doing. I am glad to be recovering and walking again. Hopefully I be recovered fully in a few months but grateful to Dr E Pereira and his team forever. May God bless them and support to continue their miracle work.
