Mr Gupte is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon of exceptional ability and a leading specialist in knee injuries. He is also extremely skilful at other forms of orthopaedic surgery. The results of the complex orthopaedic operation he performed on my shattered elbow joint last year were astonishing, far exceeding the outcome I was told to expect by other doctors and surgeons. Also striking is Mr Gupte’s dedication to his patients – he gave nothing but his best to me, operating for over four hours late into the night to reconstruct my joint. I have heard it from several other patients at the fracture clinic that Mr Gupte stands out because of his caring attitude and kindness. Mr Gupte listens to his patients and shows a genuine concern for their well-being. He takes time to explain treatment options, and responds to questions with great clarity.
