A man of infectious, and well-deserved, confidence. A very fine surgeon, and excellent at his job, but his own charisma can sometimes lead to a slightly incomplete-feeling discussion of options and concerns. When this was pointed out, though, he corrected it and spent a long time going over everything in detail, fully addressing all issues. It may just have to be pointed out that it's happening!

Since the first time I met with Mr Gupte I felt to be in the best possible hands. He has been as competent and caring as possible in understanding the nature of my trauma, in illustrating the possible ways to treat it, in suggesting the one he thought to be the best for me. Throughout the whole process, from assessment, to surgery, to recovery he has been very close to me and preempted every possible question of mine. Definitely a very positive experience that I would recommend to anyone else.

I had a total knee replacement a year ago and now after full recovery am able to walk miles and do things I haven't been able to do well for years. Chinmay Gupte's help has been invaluable. I cannot recommend Dr. Gupte enough, he operated on my knee recently and everything from the first appointment to my operation to post-op care was just perfect. In fact, I had such a swift and painless recovery that I often wonder if I even had this operation at all. My knee feels great, he did a great job explaining everything he did to me and informing me of future risks and preventive care. If I had any other troubles that had nothing to do with the knee, I would still call Dr. Gupte:)
