Mr. Andrews is a London-based Knee and orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon. He is amongst the World’s leading practitioners in his field. Barry is a graduate of the University of Sheffield Medical School, where he also completed early surgical training. Upon moving to London, he successfully joined the prestigious Percival Pott orthopaedic training rotation which included specialist knee and trauma training at St.Bartholomews, The Royal London, and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. Mr Andrews is a dedicated teacher and trainer: He runs the knee surgery simulation courses at King’s, lectures to the FRCS knee and trauma trainees, and he is an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Instructor. He is an expert in knee replacement, and in particular partial knee replacement, but recognises the importance of knee preservation surgery. He can offer expert treatment for cartilage lesions, meniscal problems, ACL , PCL, and mulitiligament knee injuries, and specialises in osteotomies around the knee. He is a specialist complex orthopaedic trauma surgeon which includes periprosthetic fractures around knee replacements.
